Recording: 303(d) List Webinar: How the EPA Unveiled Missing Impaired Streams in WV

In this webinar, Staff Scientist for WV Rivers Coalition Jenna Dodson and former Assistant Director of the Watershed Assessment Branch for WVDEP John Wirts discuss how the EPA identified a significant gap in the 303(d) List and learn what methodology WVDEP can use to make sure our streams don’t fall through the cracks.

You can access the slides presented during the webinar here. If you have any follow-up questions, please email them to Jenna Dodson <jdodson@wvrivers.org> and John Wirts <jwirts@wvrivers.org>.

WV Rivers Coalition stands with the EPA in holding the WVDEP accountable for its role in this oversight. The EPA is accepting public comments until 10/18/2023, and we urge you to add your voice to support using the best science available to protect our water resources.
