The Downstream Network provides conservationists in the Chesapeake Bay watershed an online hub for natural resource conservation news and activism in the region.   By automatically drawing on web content from its partners, the Network creates a continually updated and informative aggregate newsfeed—a concise alternative to the disorienting clamor of social media and web searches—and provides a venue for member organizations to connect with like-minded groups as they pursue common goals.
