Low-Cost Trees Now Available for Fall 2021 Planting
The Sleepy Creek Watershed Association (SCWA) is again teaming with Cacapon Institute’s “Your Community BMP” program to provide Sleepy Creek Watershed residents the opportunity to purchase and plant a variety of trees on their properties this coming fall. The trees listed below are offered at a substantial discount price of $25. Trees will be available at the First United Methodist Church, 49 S. Green Street in Berkeley Spring on October 2, 2021, and we’ll instruct you on the proper planting and care of the trees. Up to 4 trees can be purchased by individual residents. All trees must be ordered and paid for before August 12, 2021. Once your trees are planted, you are required to take a picture of each plated tree and post the pictures on the Cacapon Institute website.
