December 22, 2016 – Agricultural Land Easements (ALE)

Two ALE application forms must be signed and submitted by December 22:  ALE Entity Application CPA-41 and ALE Parcel Sheet CPA-41A, to the NRCS Virginia Easement Office.  The full application package of documents must be submitted by January 31, 2017.  ALE application forms are provided on theVA NRCS Easement Website.  Note that several documents are needed from the landowner’s local USDA Service Center NRCS office.

December 2, 2016 – Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE)

An NRCS-CPA-1200 form and other eligibility documents are due from the landowner to their local USDA Service Center NRCS Office.  Landowners should work with their local NRCS Offices.

The NRCS FY-2017 Virginia allocations are $1,992,193 for ALE and $511,488 for WRE.
