Virginia’s United Land Trusts (VaULT) is pleased to invite you to be a part of the 2026 Virginia Land Conservation and Greenways Conference on April 27-29, 2026, at the Marriott City Center in Newport News. This year’s theme is adaptation, as we focus on proactive measures to take in our field.

There are five primary tracts, and the proposal form has a list of suggested topics to help with brainstorming:

  1. Trails, Greenways, and Blueways
  2. Conservation Challenges and Opportunities
  3. Land Access
  4. Land Trust Fundamentals
  5. Skill Building and Nonprofit Management

Sessions can be either 45 or 90 minutes long and can be presented independently or as part of a team.

All proposals are due Monday, November 10, 2025, by 11:59 pm. For more information and to submit a proposal please click HERE.

We look forward to receiving your proposals, and to another wonderful conference! If you have questions about the process of submitting a proposal or the content of your proposal, please reach out to Amelia Wilt at awilt@nvct.org.

Sincerely,

The 2026 VaULT Conference Planning Committee
