Spout Run Journal: Tree Planting
Stream restoration specialist Seth Coffman, from Trout Unlimited, leads a volunteer tree planting on Spout Run near Carter Hall Spring. The tree planting will help restore a riparian buffer around Spout Run in order to stabilize the bank and provide shade for the stream habitat.
These video journal entries are funded in part by a grant to Clarke County, Virginia and the C Spout Run Partnership from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund. Find out more at spoutrun.org
