Good morning, the Friends of the Shenandoah River’s laboratory staff and volunteer citizen scientists, B. Suhr and S. Bonney, have loaded the car with the water-quality monitoring equipment, put on waders, and headed out this morning to collect the water samples for this week’s summer E. coli testing program.
However, despite our best efforts, the morning got off to a slow start. After sitting in a traffic snarl on Route 7 this morning, we have finished collecting the water samples at the three public access sites on the Shenandoah River in Clarke County. Moving on to the public access sites in Warren County.
Make sure support https://fosr.org/donate/ and to check in frequently to the Friends of the Shenandoah River web site, http://www.fosr.org, for the latest weekly E. coli test results being performed and provided to you by the Friends of the Shenandoah River (FOSR).
