Job Opportunity – 2017 Summer Internship
The Clarke County Conservation Easement Authority is offering an internship to persons interested in conducting easement inspections. The Authority currently holds easements on over 90 properties and are required to inspect each one annually to insure compliance with the terms of the easement. The position would involve reviewing county records pertaining to the property, contacting land owners, conducting site visits, documenting changes to property, and submitting inspection reports.It is estimated that it will take 2-3 hours per property for a maximum of 240 hours. The intern would work independently with minimal supervision. Intern would be required to have their own vehicle but would be reimbursed for mileage. Applicants completing the internship for college credit are encouraged. Interns are paid $1,000 stipend.
